Cancellation of Membership Policy
Cancellation of membership is permissible at any time for the following:
*death or disability
* injury or illness with written medical proof
*permanent relocation beyond a fifty-mile radius.
For any other reason, the member is still responsible for the remaining balance of the one-year membership and any incurred charges. There will be no HOLDS on memberships other than hardship cases, pending managerial approval.
The effective date of cancellation, under the above terms, will be the date Stonebrook receives written notification. Membership Account and house charges will be suspended until all outstanding balances on a membership account are paid in full.
I understand the club may cancel my membership if, in the opinion of management, I, or my guest, have committed flagrant or consistent misconduct, destroyed club property, or I have failed to make monthly payments. Under these conditions, the member will still be responsible for all charges previously incurred. Members and/or guests will not be allowed to use Stonebrook services or property in the future.
